Modern family villa for rent within walking distance of the beach of Salir do Porto on the bay of São Martinho do Porto – Silver Coast, Portugal. The villa is suited for a stay of 6 adults, a (newly assembled) family with up to 4 children or two families with up to 4 children.
Our villa is located in a small allotment of 4 similar houses in the lower part of Salir do Porto. This quiet village with about 800 inhabitants is situated on the shell-shaped bay of São Martinho do Porto. Salir do Porto has some private beaches with fine sand located at an offshoot of the bay where it is quiet. These are within walking distance of the villa (+/- 600 metres). The bay itself and its beach can also be reached on foot via the dike or via footpaths (from +/- 700 m). The waves and tides in the bay are very calm which makes it safe to play with children in the sea.
Salir do Porto has a mini-market, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of 5 to 10 minutes.
Lisbon is +/- 90 km from the villa or 50 – 60 minutes drive. The transfer to and from the city and the airport is easy via the A8 motorway.
Salir do Porto is also excellently located as a base for further exploration of the Silver Coast with its hidden gems and for a day trip to bustling Lisbon.
